I'm so NOT lovin' this

Well, many of you out there will be so happy to hear this: I am trying to buy and eat more healthy foods. I know, I know: good for me. SO not the case! I am trying to get my family to eat better food because we do get so busy that we eat quite a bit of junk/crap food. I want my kids to grow up eating good food and I am really trying to filter out these "food jags" that Taylie has been on for what seems like forever. I know that in order to get everyone else to eat better, I need to as well. (I had always hoped that the phrase: "because I'm the mom, that's why!" would work out better for me that it has) and eating good is so not fun. The reason I post this is to get some good tips and recipies on food that I can make that falls into that "good-for-you" category. I have found a whole wheat bread that does not totally taste like sandpaper and an all natural peanut butter and some of those things. Any suggestions are appreciated. NOW, I am not interested in things that will require me to stock up on a pantry full of twigs and gravel and excess amounts of plant life and things like that. I am looking for relativly "normal" things. Thanks for the help!

Try out www.eatingwell.com They have delicious recipes and you can subscribe to their weekly emails that send you coupons, help you shop, meal-plan, and always new recipes. I love it! We could even start a recipe exchange :) I love cooking when it's healthy and easy and I find the time...let me know what you think.

If you really want to eat healthy you're going to need lots of "plant life." ;) Fruits and veggies matter! One trick is mixing them in with things you might already like, such as fruit in your cereal or whole vegetables on your spaghetti. You get used to it.
