dancing in the rain!

This time of year is "monsoon" season here in the great desert of Utah. I personally love the rain and wish it would rain all the time! Jacob hates the rain and is pretty sure he will melt if he has to go outdoors in it. (Not really, but almost :) ) So when we got a really good rain storm the other day I went to go stand outside and enjoy it and let the kids come with me.

Taylie brought her umbrella outside, but she couldn't hold still enough for it to do much good!

We had SO much fun and were out there for a long time too. We were all soaked through our clothes and has to take a warm bath when we were done. If I could do that everyday, I totally would.

yummy

Me: "What are you silly kids doing?!"
Taylie: "We are being breakfast burritos, mom!"
Luke: "yep"

I nearly peed my pants I was laughing so hard! Really?! Breakfast Burritos?!
Who would have thought :)

Thanks Aunt Meg!

We inherited some scooters that were left abandoned at Auntie Meg's park. They were there for SEVERAL months so I do not feel too guilty and if the owners ever came looking for them, I would give them back. :)
We have had so much fun "scootering" as Taylie calls it.
Thanks for the fun toys Megan!

(Jacob has some fun too)

growing up so fast...

Luke: "bye ma" (puckers up for a kiss and smacks his lips together)
(I give him a kiss)
Me: "where are you going?"
Luke: "Work. Bye-bye. See? Hat like dad...go work."

:) Work sometimes changes places with school depending what day it is.

Why are the little ones in such a hurry to grow up?

school days

I have changed my blog back round to commemorate Jacob finishing his 3rd term in college, Me finishing Human Anatomy/Lab without giving into the urge to run out into traffic (my final is next Saturday), and my little Taylie is starting preschool 1 month from today.
Hope y'all dig it.
